Supervisor, Quality Control
Oslo, Lillestrom/Norway
We are now looking for a new colleague to join our dedicated Quality Control team in Norway. It is a highly motivated and diverse team of 22 colleagues with a passion to ensure high quality of products/services to our customers. The QC department is in strong growth and have many exciting projects (for example LIMS implementation, design of a new and modern lab space, support projects for automation and scale up).
What are you going to do?
• Leading a group in our QC team, with focus on Supply
• Contribute to the leadership team in QC by building and develop the team, and to encourage a great working environment with a “team first” attitude
• Training and development of team members
• Contribute to the team’s objectives, and together with the team take responsibility to ensure an efficient process within the operational deliverables
• Plan and conduct complex analysis in the lab
• Ensure high quality, productivity and safety for the QC operations
• Manage deviations and corrective actions
• Ensure high quality documentation
What do you need to succeed?
• Bio/Chemistry/Biotechnology Engineering (BSc/MSc)
• Experience from leading a team, preferably in a lab environment
• Solid experience of laboratory work from the industry
• Experience of working in an environment with ISO13485 standard is an advantage,
• Knowledge of quality assurance is essential
And:
• You enjoy leading and involving other team members in goal setting and to create good results
• You have good communication skills and enjoy working in a lab environment
• You are diligent and systematic in your approach to work
• You are flexible, efficient and with a “can do” attitude
• You can balance between planning and conducting lab work to reach the delivery goals
• You are calm, pro-active, goal oriented, structured and communicative in the way you work
