Job description:
This position will be based in our Geophysical Seismic Interpretation department where our mission is to create cloud services around our best in class Geophysical Seismic Interpretation software. These services are part of the larger DELFI initiative from Schlumberger. Schlumberger has joined the open source its data ecosystem, which is part of the Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU).
You should be comfortable working on both back-end and front-end tasks and collaborating with coworkers from all over the world both on-site and remote.
If you have experience with, or are interesting in the following, we are looking for you:
- REST API testing with Swagger, Postman
- End to end and UI automated testing e.g. Specflow, NUnit, etc
- .NET Framework/C#
- Docker containers
- Azure Dev Ops/Agile development
- Scripting languages, e.g. YAML, Powershell, Python, etc
- Web-based testing

Essential responsibilities and duties:
- Work with subject matter experts to clarify requirements
- Turn requirements and user stories into functionality
- Construct and maintain test pipelines/suites
- Develop automated tests to be run in the cloud
- Ensures the solution is deployable, operable and secure by default
- Record issues found and verify fixes
- Report application testing status to project management
Qualifications:
- Bachelors (or equivalent industrial experiences) / Masters / PhD degree in science or engineering with software experience or education
- Cloud experience, preferably with Azure, GCP or AWS
- Good written and oral English communications skills
Behavior:
- Learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills. Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Have a good understanding of latest technology trends for Cloud applications
- Work on a wide variety of tasks using emerging technologies
