The finance function plays a key role in fueling our ambitious journey. It serves as the cornerstone for optimizing our financial operations and ensuring the robust financial health necessary to drive our ambitious vision. This function is instrumental in guiding us towards sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term success.
Right now, we are looking to strengthen our team with a Finance Director. This role is tailored for professionals with a strategic mindset and strong financial acumen. In this senior leadership position, you will be at the helm of our financial strategy. You'll take charge of optimizing our financial infrastructure, ensuring compliance, and spearheading the company's strategic financial planning and analysis. Your expertise will also extend to ownership and execution of strategic projects, encompassing automation, M&A opportunities, and performance management, all critical to our growth, profitability, and sustainability.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- **Financial Planning and Strategy;**develop and execute strategic financial plans, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and monitor financial performance.
- **Financial Analysis and Reporting;**provide financial analyses, prepare and present financial reports, statements, and key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- **Financial Operations and Process Improvement;**Manage vendors in accounting and payroll, oversee daily financial operations, streamline processes. Own Amby's data infrastructure, driving operational and financial efficiency through automation and workflow enhancements.
- **Strategic Projects:**Own and execute strategic projects, M&A opportunities, and performance management. Lead project planning, financial modeling, and due diligence. Working closely with, and advising the CEO and COO.
You will also be responsible for overseeing:
- **Growth Finance and Margin Improvement;**develop and implement pricing strategies, Identify opportunities for margin improvement and lead initiatives to achieve them, safeguarding profitability and supporting growth.
- **Compliance and Risk Management;**Manage tax compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- **Cash Flow Management;**Manage cash flows and optimize working capital, short-term and long-term cash reserves.
- **Stakeholder Management;**Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders, providing financial insights and aligning financial strategies with operational goals, joining board meetings when requested.
Who we look for:
- MBA/MSc in finance, business, or equivalent.
- Experience in a strategic financial role, management consulting, audit, or a similar field.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the confidence to make data-driven recommendations.
- Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Business acumen and a growth-focused mindset.
- Good understanding of accounting, financial control, and cash management.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality financial standards.
