Financial Control Product Owner Santander Consumer Bank Nordics

Do you want to join a small team making big impact on the financial business?

As FC Product Owner, you are responsible for the delivery on strategic projects and improvements for Financial Control. You will be involved in every part of the function, being a driver for continuous improvement and future proofing.

You will also facilitate support towards Bank initiatives which means that you will need to work closely with other functions to make sure we deliver on common goals for the bank.

Important parts of this role will be to create project overview for prioritized projects, manage internal/external communication, run agile meetings with representatives from all teams in Financial Control when needed, coordinate resources within each project and secure necessary specifications, testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Financial Control Product owner
• Planning, executing and managing work across a team and workstream.
• Translating business requirements for architecture, design, development, test, release, implementation, and support teams
• Structured analysis techniques to model, refine and communicate requirements
• Requirement elaboration and facilitation of cross-functional conversations and workshops with stakeholders
• Delivery lifecycle approaches, agile/scrum
• Applying delivery tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA) to manage work and drive quality
• Develop user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process/system to the team and/or other functions/employees

Your background

• Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or IT (may be substituted by relevant experience)
• +3 years relevant work experience, preferably within finance or IT
• Preferably experience with leading/delivering projects

Skills

• Fluent in written and oral English
• Strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to build relationships, trust and credibility on all business levels
• Experience from core banking solutions.
• Competence within the use of business intelligence tools such as PowerBI is a plus
• Good skills in MS Excel and SQL are an advantage
