Main tasks/responsibilities: - Purchase of spare parts and components to the vessels - Evaluation of offers and suppliers - Co-ordinate shipments to the vessels - Budget and cost control - Administrate and develop framework agreements - Develop and improve purchase systems and functions - Liaise with purchasing dept. in Wallem Hong Kong
Preferred qualifications: - Capable of working structured and efficiently both independently as well as in team - High working capacity - Flexibility and extrovert/sociable style - Honest and good analytical skill - Fluency in English language - Mercantile, logistics or technical background and good knowledge to computer tools are an advantage - Experience purchasing in the maritime field will be an advantage

From the WSMN office in Bergen, we currently provide full technical management for 18 vessels. The WSMN office is located in the centre of Bergen. We currently have 15 shore-based employees and more than 400 Scandinavian, Ukrainian, Indian and Filipino seafarers.
