We are now looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer who will be responsible for daily operational tasks surrounding our database server and SaaS solutions, all cloud-based solutions mainly on the Windows Azure platform. You will be our key resource on all database related questions -- being a supportive advisor for colleagues in need and the go-to person for tasks and projects concerning databases. Key tasks are maintenance of the database server (SQL), troubleshooting and general administration of the Windows Server. Besides the rest of the operations team, you will work closely with our R&D department, being the link between developers and the databases.
Who we are looking for:
We expect the right candidate to hold a degree within IT, but strong and relevant experience within operations can outweigh this. You are experienced in Windows Server Administration, SQL/ Azure SQL and Active Directory. We hope you have some experience in protection and recovery in the cloud and are knowledgeable in the field on Network and Security. We hope that you come from an operations environment within a software company where you have gotten familiar with SaaS and perhaps even DevOps. Finally, English is our working language and you need to master this at a good level.
