Looking to join one of the most dynamic and exciting teams in the Cruise Industry? We are looking to add an Itinerary Planner to our team with a focus on the Norwegian Coast. Your role will include helping design Explorer voyages, developing existing destinations and finding new areas for our ships to visit.
You will be a part of the Strategy and Itinerary Planning team based in Oslo, working closely with the Maritime Operations, Sales, Revenue Management, Product departments and many more! Strong interpersonal skills, a structured mindset and a great team spirit are essential. Experience in the Travel Industry, knowledge of the Norwegian Coast and Hurtigruten are a plus.
There will be some traveling expected, especially during the first year.
It is preferable that the candidate is based in Oslo, but working from Tromsø can be an option.

Job description
- Plan deployment of Expedition ships in Norwegian waters (3-5 vessels depending on the season), produce day-by-day itineraries.
- Manage and develop relationships with Ports
- Coordinate product development in close collaboration with other departments within Hurtigruten
- Suggest and manage changes to existing sailings if needed
- Communicate deployment plan to all relevant stakeholders, such as markets, salespeople and crew
- Participate in the company strategic planning and fleet-wide deployment optimization
- Travel to existing and potential destinations to gain on-the-ground experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree (may be waived for experienced candidates)
- Industry experience, such as maritime operations, tour operations, excursions
- Knowledge of the Norwegian Coast is preferred
- Experience working in the Travel Industry is a plus
- Must be able to speak and write in Norwegian and English.
