QA/QC Consultant: ROV Connector Specialist

Responsibilities
. Prepare and organize the procurement of the subsea driverless connector (RTS, HCS, HCCS Icarus).
  • Supervise and follow the engineering and fabrication of the driverless connector.
  • Define and implement all the requirements for the proper delivery (with regard to safety, quality and schedule) of the subsea equipments.
  • Coordinate with the Jacket group, the subsea connectors design engineer.


    • Activities:
  • To monitor all aspects (technical, costs, planning, interfaces) related to the packages during detailed engineering, fabrication and testing.
  • To ensure the follow-up and correct application of the ITPs (inspection and test plans) and QCPs (quality control plans).
  • To organise assistance from client's corporate organisation or from external specialists as necessary.
  • To supervise and promote cost saving solutions.
  • To participate in functional tests as per agreed ITPs, i.e. FATs, hydro tests, balancing, NDTs, painting checks, etc).
  • To identify clearly any deviations from contract requirements and report these to the project management /
  • To organise and participate in the engineering, QC, expediting, HAZOP and other progress meetings.


    • Required expertise
  • 10 years experience in ROV connectors manufacturing
  • Good English
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
