Job Description:
You will be included in the early engagement engineering and tendering phases of the project. Provide effective technical contribution and leadership to the sales team. As our new System Engineer, you will select, develop, engineer and manage technical solutions in cooperation with relevant technical departments and contribute to and lead early engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal departments that support the early engagement and tendering process.
- Apply holistic system approach through concept selection evaluation and description.
- Management and interpretation of customer technical requirements and system enablers/restrictions.
- Ensure that all early engagement engineering activities are performed in accordance with OneSubsea’s mandatory processes and customer’s instructions.
- Participate in and develop efficient processes and working procedures for early engagement engineering and tendering activities.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with other tendering and sales organizations within OneSubsea.
- Establish cross- functional as well as cross- segment collaboration with regards to front end / early engagement engineering.
- Participate in customer meetings to present technical solutions and value propositions, as required.
- Ensure a clear and defined handover of the scope of work to the project execution phase
- Actively contribute to the new technology development process.
- Maintain high focus on Quality and HSE in line with Company policy within all areas of operation.
- Actively promote decarbonization solutions in Processing Systems offerings
Job qualifications:
- MSc - or BSc degree within Engineering or other relevant domain / expertise
- Preferably 3-5 years of relevant experience within Energy, Subsea industry or Oil and Gas industry
- Excellent communication skills written and vocal in both English and Norwegian.
- Technical insight and knowledge within industry.

You are a person with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset. You are also able to work effectively both in teams and independently adapting into a multiskilling organization. You are self-driven towards finding new sales opportunities based on the market outlook.
