We are seeking an after school assistant to join our team immediately. The position is for 8 hours per week and will involve working with children in a small group setting. If you are: - fluent in English - enthusiastic, reliable and flexible - enjoy working with young children - demonstrate creativity and a sense of fun about learning - have experience of working/would like to work in an international environment then please send your cv and an application letter in English to: vice.principal@birralee.no as soon as possible.
Birralee International School Trondheim provides an English-speaking education for children aged 4-16 living in Trondheim, central Norway. The Australian founder gave the school the name 'Birralee' meaning a 'safe place for children' - we do our best to provide a stimulating and secure learning environment valuing each child as an individual and helping them to reach their full potential. The school is non-profit making and is co-educational. Classes are relatively small and our experienced staff are fluent in English and Norwegian. There is a close community spirit in which religious, cultural and linguistic differences are respected. We are termporarily located at Brøset Interimskole (Granåsvegen 6) as our premises in the city center are being renovated.
