As a Product Development Engineer, you will develop technology to be used within Oil & Gas industry. We need to sustain and tweak our current product and we have focus on new product based on customer and our own ideas. You contribution will support the development of innovative solutions and ensure our continued growth in the oil & gas industry.

Here is few day-to-day task

• Developing and advancing new tools and technologies based on our customer ideas and our own.
• Engaging in product development work for the completion and well construction markets.
• Creating and maintaining project documentation and drawings.
• Maintaining a system engineering overview.
• Collaborating with other Design & Development Manager on services and problem-solving.
• Participating in the improvement of products and services, including proposing new ideas.
• Ensuring quality in services and products, adhering to client specifications and design methodologies.
• Coordinating the work of others within your engineering discipline for timely delivery of relevant project scopes.
• Contributing as technical expertise in sales work, supporting commercialization projects, and participating in relevant studies.
• Some trips out of country to support our sales team might be applicable.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or process engineering.
• Good communication skills in English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
• Strong technical writing skills and the ability to thoroughly document your engineering work.
• Experience with SolidWorks or other drawing program are an advantage.
