Norges Bank Investment Management manages the Government Pension Fund Global, and has assets worth more than 10,000 billion kroner, or about $1.1 Trillion. The fund is invested in international equity and fixed-income markets and real estate. As manager of one of the world's largest funds we have developed a highly skilled investment organisation with a global outlook. We are more than 525 people from 37 countries based in Oslo, London, New York, Singapore and Shanghai.

Summer Intern Programme 2021

Our Summer internships last for six weeks between June and August in Oslo or London. The internship gives current students an opportunity to gain work experience within one of the world's largest and most progressive international investment funds.
Just as we invest for the long term, we take a long-term perspective when it comes to our staff. Our internship can be the start of your career journey at the fund.

As an intern you get a unique opportunity to contribute to the fund early on and to learn from top professionals. Candidates with high performance in the programme may also be offered a fast track to our two-year rotational Talent programme.
During the internship you will receive a full introduction to the organisation. You will meet senior managers and employees from across the organisation and our offices. You will get a variety of development opportunities including skills-based boot camps, team projects and a lunchtime lecture series from some of our top employees. There will also be social events and team activities. A dedicated manager will set your day-to-day tasks and support you with your projects. At the end of the six weeks you will be given the opportunity to present your work to your team and senior managers. We are looking for talented people from a range of backgrounds, with different mindsets and who are comfortable in taking risks. Application process
The intern positions are recruited every autumn, joining Norges Bank Investment Management the following summer. Application for the 2021 Summer internship opens mid-October.

Selection process
The strongest applicants will be invited to complete an initial HR interview. Further, selected candidates will be invited to a virtual assessment centre. This normally consists of a group exercise, a case study, and both technical and general interviews. You will meet senior managers, current graduates and HR representatives.
We will invite the top candidates for final interviews with the relevant teams at Norges Bank Investment Management before we make our offers for the positions.
