Our Summer Internship
As a Summer intern, you will be provided with unique and challenging projects that will enrich your knowledge about your field of study, highlight what ConocoPhillips has to offer and help you learn more about the latest innovations in the ever changing energy industry.

Our summer internship is for students in their 3rd and 4th year of study. We are looking for students who study the field of Process and Chemistry Engineering.
The summer internship period is for 8 weeks from June 14th to August 6th, 2021.
Housing support will be offered to Summer Interns from outside the Stavanger Area.
The following are included in the internship
- Tasks considered important to the company
- Relevant subject for your studies
- Technical mentor, sponsor and buddy
- Be a part of a team with other summer interns
- Conference and presentation training
- Introduction to the different technical disciplines
Required Qualifications
- Process or Chemical Engineer students in their 3rd or 4th year
- Good knowledge of English, both written and oral
- Legal right to live and work in Norway
Preferred Qualifications
- Analytical/technical skills with a practical approach to problem solving
- Interpersonal communication, both written & oral presentation skills
- Organizational skills - able to prioritize responsibilities
- Decision making, focus on results with high levels of initiative
- Dependability and adaptability
- Proactive and ability to ask questions
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent computer literacy
- Minimum average grade B
- Able to read, write and speak Norwegian
Work location
The position is located onshore in our office in Tananger.
