DNV is rapidly scaling up its Cyber Security unit, building on our strengths in the Nordics and internationally to make a global impact on safeguarding life, property, and the environment -also within the Cyber domain.
As we are experiencing increasing demand and high activity across our core markets, we will further strengthen our sales team with an additional Sales Manager having ambition and drive.
As Sales Manager, you will spend your time working on a variety of sales/ commercial/ marketing activities to further grow our sales volume and ensure customer-centricity from A to Z.
Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to
- On a day-to-day basis manage sales processes, develop business relationships, and execute the sales plan
- Proactively approach targeted clients, identify, and generate business leads based on our value proposition and market impact
- Take on the role of bid manager
- Manage sales processes according to our management system
- Host and take part in market communication activities such as tradeshows, conferences, seminars, and so on
- Be one of the front-runners when it comes to commercial work and customer care
- Develop, maintain, and keep all sales records current. DNV uses Salesforce as a CRM solution, and the tool is used for reporting/ follow-up across the board

The Sales Manager reports to the Business Development Director.
You will be based at one of DNV’s premises in Norway, preferably Høvik or Trondheim, but other locations can be considered for the right candidate.
Position Qualifications
Essential competencies and experience:
- Formal education on BSc level or higher in relevant areas such as cyber security (IT and/or OT), computer science, telecom, or cybernetics. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
- B2B Sales experience
- Cyber Security knowledge/ experience to be able to communicate effectively and correctly as well as strong ability to understand client’s concerns and translate these into potential solutions
- Strategic mindset while at the same time attention to details
- Structured way of working and able to keep track of parallel activities
- Knowledge of IEC 62443 and other relevant standards/ frameworks
- Cyber security certifications like CISM, or any other certification is an advantage
- Language skills -verbal and written: Fluent English and Norwegian is required.
