Our Department at Stord is now looking for a Sustainability & Improvement Advisor.
What will you be doing?
- Contribute to the organization’s focus on sustainability and energy management
- Contribute to develop the yard’s sustainability strategy and lead the local sustainability group
- Lead and participate in improvement projects within sustainability and energy management
- Perform systematic data analyzes, contribute to implementation of energy efficient solutions and maintain and improve the yard’s energy management system
- Execute sustainability and energy audits and verifications, internally and at suppliers and subcontractors
- The role will be combined with other tasks within quality management and continuous improvement
- You will have to expect a certain degree of business travels to other Aker Solutions locations and for follow-up and audits of suppliers and subcontractors
We think you should have:
- Bachelor/master’s degree or equivalent. Long and relevant work experience may compensate for lack of formal education
- Great commitment to sustainability
- Experience with quality and/or HSSE management processes
- Experience with quality and/or HSSE audits
- The ability to work structured and independently, but also be a good at building relationships and have a team-player attitude
- Be self-motivated, have strong work ethics and a proactive attitude
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Innovative and creative mindset
- Solid command of the Norwegian and English language, both written and spoken
