Business Developer, IT / Digitalisation Statkraft

Statkraft IT is the Statkraft Group’s IT service provider and Digitalisation Centre of Expertise, delivering a full set of services from business development, change management, projects, application development to operational services. Dedicated business development teams with solid business knowledge are responsible for the partnership with Statkraft’s business divisions and units.  Statkraft has high ambitions for creating new business opportunities and unlocking performance improvement through integrated use of digital technologies and new ways of working. Statkraft IT’s role is both to drive the overall digitalisation in Statkraft and to support each business division in developing and executing vivid digital roadmaps.  Your role: As an IT Business Developer, you will assist the business areas in defining and reaching their goals and build on the tight partnership between business and IT. You will work closely with the business areas, understanding their core business and processes, and bringing the resources of Statkraft IT to support on their challenges This position will have aspecific focus on Corporate Management and the Staff Areas with global focus. 

• Drive digitalisation in the business by creating awareness and introducing digitalization opportunities from new technology, data science and great user experiences 
• Support the business in having vivid digital roadmaps and to secure effective execution by securing right competence and capacity in digitalisation initiatives 
• Be responsible for developing concrete projects and initiatives from idea to ready for project execution, as well as to govern the execution 

• Be a team player involving and collaborating closely with both the technology teams and business teams 

Your profile:  

• Higher relevant education at university level and minimum 4 years’ work experience 
• Goal focused, analytical, structured and tenacious 
• Good understanding for operating models and business processes  

• Great interest and understanding for the opportunities enabled by digitalisation trends and technologies.E.g. data science, process automation, robotics and user experiences. Experience from digitalization initiatives within support functions such as CFO, HR, Communication, HSE or Compliance is a bonus 
• Ability to connect the dots between business needs and IT solutions.  
• Strong relationship and communication capabilities and talent for creating trust 
• Strong in facilitation, process and project management, how to start and move cases  
• Great passion and drive, as well as corporate navigation skills 

• Fluent English and Norwegian - verbal and written communication
