As a senior engineer within valves you will contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition.
About the positionIn this position you will work as responsible package engineer for several valve packages and equipment. You will work closely with other disciplines in several exciting projects.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- Specification of Piping and Instrument valves, preparation of Tech. Req. and vendor coordination
- Input and comments to vendor documentation
- Administration of Valve list to project
- Participate in HAZOP, design reviews etc.
- Inputs to MTO, MEL, 3D Model and Weight Control
- Input to MC/COMM
- Administration of tags in EIS, Proarc, Administration of Client systems (STID, Procosys)
- Support to Area and System related disciplines
Qualifications
- Master/Bachelor Degree or equivalent education
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Long experience in the Oil & gas Industry in Norway
- Participation in FEED studies and EPCIC projects
- Excellent knowledge of Norsok and international standards
- Wide experience with instrument actuated valves calculation and specification is an advantage
- Experience with Equinor procedures and standards. (Preferable)
