Senior Data and Analytics Manager Kongsberg Gruppen

You will be in charge and oversee the group’s machine learning and analytics efforts - covering areas such as methodologies, tools and library development, data driven projects, cloud and platform analytics. This includes

• Building a team of data scientists to meet the KDI’s ambitions regarding machine learning, artificial intelligence and data analytics.
• Build and implement algorithms and code to support KDI’s product portfolio, customer projects and business opportunities. 
• Partner with business leads to provide guidance and best practice on how customer data can be transformed into actionable items and in turn to value.
• Closely interact with the various product teams to support data and machine learning projects and bridge business and engineering efforts. 

What do we expect: 

• 5 years of experience with data analytics and machine learning.
• M Sc degree or similar (Math, Statistics, CS, Engineering background preferred).  
• Highly proficient knowledge of machine learning techniques, data analytics, statistics and numerical methods.
• Familiar with machine learning toolkits (Matlab, TensorFlow, CNTK, Theano etc.)
• Strong knowledge and interest for trends in machine learning and analytics.
• Ability to interpret high-level business objectives into a strategy.
• Experience with databases and data collection.
• Knowlege of Python, R or other suitable languages.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cortana Intelligence Suite. 
• Management experience.
