We have an open position for:
Senior Telecom and Navigation Engineer
Typical work tasks will be:
• Design of telecom and navigation systems
• Preparing guidelines and specifications for telecom and navigation systems
within oil and gas onshore/offshore and also general maritime vessels
• Participating in the tender process creating tender specifications and CTRs
• Create RFQs and perform technical bid evaluation
• Perform calculation for radio- and fibre optical communication systems
• Testing and commissioning
• Some travelling activities will be needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or similar in Telecom and Navigation Engineering
• Practical engineering experience of various systems:
• PAGA systems
• Telephone systems (PABX)
• Real Time Clock
• Navigational Aids
• Positioning
• GMDSS
• Marine Radar system
• Meteorological Observation system
• Helideck Flood-/Perimeter Status lighting
• Fibre optical communication
• LAN Network
• Radio-link system
• Portable video camera
• PMR (VHF/UHF)
• Entertainment system
• CCTV system
• Offshore and/or maritime experience is expected
• Knowledge to relevant rules, regulations and class requirements
